Patent number: 11155912Abstract: A method (100) for pressing at least one article in an arrangement as well as a pressing arrangement (500). The method comprises providing an article inside a load compartment and feeding a pressure medium into the pressure vessel and increasing (140) the pressure in the load compartment; increasing (120) the temperature and maintaining (150) the increased temperature and the increased pressure for selected periods of time (t1, t2); changing (170) the temperature from the first predetermined temperature level to a second predetermined temperature level (T2); feeding (180) a carbon-containing gas into the pressure vessel; maintaining (190) the second predetermined temperature level for a selected period of time (t3); reducing (200) the temperature in the load compartment; and discharging (210) the pressure medium from the pressure vessel and reducing (220) the pressure in the load compartment.Type: GrantFiled: February 10, 2020Date of Patent: October 26, 2021Assignee: Quintus Technologies ABInventors: Soren Wiberg, Artur Miedzinski, Carl Silverhult, Anders Flodin, Dag Danielsson, Magnus Ahlfors, Stefan Sehlstedt

Patent number: 5984642Abstract: A pressure intensifier for pressurization of a medium is provided, comprising a low-pressure cylinder (1), in which a low-pressure piston (2) is axially displaceable, and two high-pressure chambers (3, 4) which are each arranged coaxially with and on separate sides of the low-pressure cylinder (1) and which each exhibit an axially displaceable high-pressure piston (9, 10) which are secured to the low-pressure piston (2). A channel (16), provided with a nonreturn valve (17), connects the two high-pressure chambers. The area of one high-pressure piston (9) may be larger than the area of the other high-pressure piston (10).Type: GrantFiled: November 18, 1996Date of Patent: November 16, 1999Assignee: Flow Holdings GmbH (SAGL) Limited Liability Co.Inventor: Dag Danielsson

Patent number: 4849917Abstract: In strip casting, a melt is pressed between a travelling belt and a casting drum rotating along with the belt. A method and device for measuring the speed difference between the speed of the belt and the peripheral speed of the drum involves providing the belt on one side with a pattern of alternately darker and lighter stripes. Around the periphery of the casting drum there is arranged a number of measuring zones, each having the same width as that of the stripes. Each measuring zone includes a transducer built up of a number of photocells which, via optical conductors opening out to the measuring zones, can be activated by the stripes. When, during a casting operation, a measuring zone has arrived at a given measuring region, the number of activated photocells is read. The same procedure is repeated when the same transducer arrives at the end of the measuring region.Type: GrantFiled: March 27, 1987Date of Patent: July 18, 1989Assignee: ASEA AktiebolagInventor: Dag Danielsson
