  • Patent number: 10027572
Abstract: A station (100, 330) for use in a mesh network comprising at least one first station (100a) and a second station (100b) wherein the station comprises a controller (210) configured to receive a path request for a path from the first station (100a) to the second station (100b); determine a proposed path between the first station (100a) and the second station (100b); and determine a cost for the proposed path, wherein the controller (210) is characterized in that it is configured to retrieve a number of jumps and a bit rate, and to include the number of jumps and a bit rate in the determination of the cost for the proposed path, wherein an increase in number of jumps and/or decrease in bit rate leads to an increase in cost for the proposed path.

  • Patent number: 9930604
Abstract: A station (100, 330) for use in a mesh network comprising at least one first station (100a) and a second station (100b) wherein the station comprises a controller (210) configured to receive a path request for a path from the first station (100a) to the second station (100b) from a transmitting station (100a); determine a proposed path between the first station (100a) and the second station (100b); and determine a cost for the proposed path. The controller (210) is configured to retrieve a power output level for the transmitting station (100a), and to include the battery level in the determination of the cost for the proposed path, wherein an increase in power output level leads to an increase in cost for the proposed path.

  • Patent number: 6442400
Abstract: A portable electronic communication device, such as a mobile telephone, has first and second housing elements, which are movable relative to each other, and an antenna system for electromagnetic communication within a first and a second frequency band. The antenna system is made by a printed conductive pattern, which is arranged on or in the second housing element and is connected to element for radio communication inside the first housing element. The printed pattern includes an antenna portion and an impedance matching portion for allowing the antenna portion to operate at frequencies within said first and second frequency bands.

  • Patent number: 6307511
Abstract: A portable electronic communication device, such as a mobile telephone, has first and second housing elements, which are moveable relative to each other, and an antenna system for electromagnetic communication within at least two different frequency bands. The antenna system is made by a printed pattern of an electrically conductive material, which is arranged on the second housing element and is connected to elements for radio communication inside the first housing element. A first portion of the printed pattern resonates at a frequency within a first frequency band, and a second portion of the printed pattern resonates at a frequency within a second frequency band.
