  • Publication number: 20090056482
Abstract: A method and a system for effecting a specific transmission ratio in a motor vehicle between a first shaft of a gearbox and that a shaft of a power take-off, wherein rotary motion is transmitted from a first motion-transmitting element on the first shaft to a third motion-transmitting element on the third power take-off shaft via a second motion-transmitting element situated between them. The method and the system are characterised in that the motion-transmitting element is selected with a diameter such that it is situated at a predetermined first between-centres distance from the second motion-transmitting element which is substantially equal to a second between-centres distance (y) between the first and second motion-transmitting elements. The present invention also relates to a bearing bracket which at least partly houses the motion-transmitting element and which is characterised by at least one spacing element intended to be situated between the flange and the gearbox.

  • Publication number: 20060000835
Abstract: A filler cap for a liquid receptacle within a vehicle. The filler cap includes a first body part (1) having an essentially cylindrical construction with a first end (1a) and second end (1b). The first end (1a) of the first body part (1) includes a means for concentrically engaging a receptacle opening neck 5. The second end (1b) of the first body part (1) has a second body part (2) pivotally attached thereto along a pivot axis (3). The pivot axis (3) intersects a longitudinal center axis (4) of the first body part (1) at an essentially right angle. The second body part (2) is moveable between a rest position and an operating position. In the rest position, the second body part (2) is essentially aligned with a plane of the second end of the first body part (1). In the operating position, the second body part (2) is essentially orthogonal to the plane of the second end of the first body part (1).

  • Patent number: 6896638
Abstract: A synchronizing arrangement in a planetary gear has an axially movable ring gear which for various gearchange positions can be coupled to either of two coupling rings, situated on their respective sides of the planetary gear, via synchronizing rings which belong to these coupling rings, are capable of limited rotation relative to the ring gear and have external locking teeth to prevent gear engagement before synchronization is achieved. The ring gear is provided with two grooves which run round its inside and each accommodates a ring-shaped locking device for transferring axial force to the respective synchronizing ring at the time of gear engagement. The respective locking device is also situated in an external groove in the relating synchronizing ring and can be compressed in the radial direction.

  • Publication number: 20030110876
Abstract: A synchronizing arrangement in a planetary gear (1) has an axially movable ring gear (22) which for various gearchange positions can be coupled to either of two coupling rings (9, 16), situated on their respective sides of the planetary gear (1), via synchronising rings (14, 20) which belong to these coupling rings, are capable of limited rotation relative to the ring gear and have external locking teeth (30, 31) to prevent gear engagement before synchronisation is achieved. The ring gear (22) is provided with two grooves (26, 27) which run round its inside and each accommodate a ring-shaped locking device (28) for transferring axial force to the respective synchronising ring at the time of gear engagement. The respective locking device is also situated in an external groove (32, 33) in the relating synchronising ring and can be compressed in the radial direction.

  • Patent number: 6248038
Abstract: A transmission gear comprising a fixed gear case, a drive shaft and a driven shaft supported for independent rotation in the gear case and a planetary gear arranged between the drive and driven shafts. The planetary gear comprises a sun wheel that is nonrotatably connected with the drive shaft, a planetary wheel carrier around the sun wheel which is rotated with respect to the sun wheel, at least one planet wheel supported on the planet wheel carrier around the sun wheel and each planet wheel mates with the sun wheel to be rotated thereby. A gear rim rotates with respect to and mates with the planet wheels. An axially displaceable clutch element has a first axial position at which the clutch element couples the planet wheel carrier with the gear case in a torsionally rigid manner and has a second axial position at which the clutch element couples the planet wheel carrier with a driven shaft in a torsionally rigid manner. The clutch element comprises separated but joined together clutch wheels.
