  • Patent number: 8525975
Abstract: A detector device includes a detector module and a lens module. The detector module includes an optical emitter and a photon detector spaced apart from the optical emitter. The lens body includes a first light-transmissive surface, a second light-transmissive surface, and a third light-transmissive surface. The optical emitter is operable to emit a light beam passing through the first light-transmissive surface and the second light-transmissive surface toward a surface so as to define a field of emission on the surface. The photon detector is aligned with the first and third light-transmissive surfaces so as to define a field of view on the surface. An extent of overlap between the field of view and the field of emission varies in accordance with a distance between the optical emitter and the surface.

  • Publication number: 20130181545
Abstract: A drive device capable of generating a driving output based on a magnetic field includes multiple magnetic and conductive strips adjacently but electrically isolatively positioned on a face. One of the magnetic and conductive strips has a current input end, while another has a current output end. The magnetic and conductive strips are magnetizable in the same direction to form a magneto-conductive section. Multiple bridging conductor members are bridged between opposite ends of the adjacent magnetic and conductive strips to together form a coil structure. When current flows with the angle contained between the direction of the current flowing through the magnetic and conductive strips and the magnetization direction not zero, the magnetic lines are conducted and concentrated on the magneto-conductive section to achieve a net Lorentz force for pushing the drive device.

  • Publication number: 20130120895
Abstract: A wind power negative ion generator includes a negative ion generator main body and a wind power generation device coupled to the negative ion generator main body. The wind power generation device has a power cord connected to a power line of the negative ion generator to supply electricity. The wind power generation device includes fan blades to communicate with outside and form a wind receiving side. The negative ion generator of the present invention can be widely used, not limited to a fixed power source socket. The negative ions generated by the present invention can move along with the wind to enlarge the range of the negative ions.

  • Publication number: 20100327671
Abstract: A motor includes a coil structure disposed between two magnetic plates opposite to each other in a first direction and permitting flow of a current therethrough via opposite current input and output ends. The coil structure includes: parallel magnetic and conductive strips extending in a second direction transverse to the first direction, arranged in a plane transverse to the magnetic plates, and isolated electrically and spatially from each other; and spaced apart non-magnetic and conductive bridging members each interconnecting electrically a corresponding adjacent pair of the strips when the current flows through the coil structure, the motor generates a Lorentz force in a third direction transverse to the first and second directions that is induced by the strips in response to the current flowing through the coil structure and the magnetic field and serves as a driving output of the motor.

  • Patent number: 7362521
Abstract: A lens module includes a frame, a guide bar, a lever, a first lens and a second lens. The frame is for carrying an image sensor with a photosensitive surface. The guide bar is disposed on one side of the frame and parallel to a normal of the photosensitive surface. The lever includes a pivot part coupled with the frame and an extended part capable of rotating around the pivot part. The first lens and the second lens coupled with the guide bar are leaned against the extended part. When the extended part rotates around the pivot part, the extended part drives the first lens and the second lens to slide along the guide bar, for changing a first distance between the first lens and the photosensitive surface and changing a second distance between the second lens and the photosensitive surface.

  • Publication number: 20070166022
Abstract: A camera module and an electric device using the same are provided. The camera module includes a lens, a voice coil motor and a magnetic element. The voice coil motor includes a movable wire-ring part and a magnetic fixed part. The movable wire-ring part clamps the lens and has an elastic element. The magnetic fixed part is disposed around the movable wire-ring part. As an electric current is inputted into the movable wire-ring part, the voice coil motor generates a pushing force for pushing the movable wire-ring part to shift along a first direction, meanwhile, the elastic element imposes an elastic restoring force onto the movable wire-ring part along the reverse direction of the first direction, and the magnetic element imposes a magnetic force onto the movable wire-ring part along the first direction.
