Abstract: The present invention concerns a conformal weather shield and garments for use with small wheeled vehicles, for example, scooters and motorcycles, in which the driver and passenger ride atop the vehicle exposed to the weather. The weather shield comprises a primary panel made of lightweight, flexible and water-resistant material that fits in a conformal manner around the both the lower extremities of the driver and passenger, and the structure of the small wheeled vehicle. The primary panel has two openings through which the upper extremities of the driver and passenger extend. The weather garments are rainwear-like garments intended for use in combination with the conformal weather shield, and have a zipper or VELCRO-like fastener for fastening the lower portion of the weather garment to the conformal weather shield. The zipper or VELCRO-like fastener and an associated fabric gasket provide a tight fit between the weather garment and conformal weather shield.

Abstract: The multimedia and scent storage medium described herein comprises a multimedia storage region for storing multimedia information; a scent storage region for storing multiple scents; scent identification information for identifying which scents are stored in the scent storage region; and scent recovery information stored in the multimedia storage region for sequencing recovery of scents stored in the scent storage region to coincide with audio and/or video information stored in the multimedia region. The integrated system described herein comprises a multimedia and scent storage medium and a multimedia player and scent recovery system for use in conjunction with the multimedia and scent-bearing medium.

Abstract: The present invention concerns a scent-bearing and multimedia card or disk for use in conjunction with scent recovery and multimedia playback systems. The scent-bearing and multimedia card or disk comprises an encapsulated optical storage disk for storing multimedia information, and an associated scent storage medium for storing at least one scent. The scent-bearing and multimedia card or disk contains digital scent recovery and multimedia playback control information for use by an associated scent recovery/release and multimedia playback system. The digital scent recovery and multimedia control information is used by the multimedia playback and scent release system to coordinate multimedia playback and scent release. Additional embodiments of the present invention comprise electrostatic scent release systems and methods for effectively and efficiently releasing scent stored in the scent- and multimedia-bearing card or disk.
