    Abstract: Technologies for correcting transmitter common mode (CM) voltage deviations in serial data are described. A transmitter device includes a clock source to supply a plurality of phase signals, and a resonant structure to receive the plurality of phase signals and generate a plurality of sinusoidal phase signals. The transmitter device also includes a first serializer to receive parallel data and convert the parallel data to serial data using the plurality of sinusoidal phase signals, and a transmitter coupled to an output of the first serializer. The transmitter device also includes a duty-cycle correction circuit coupled ton an output node of the transmitter. The duty-cycle correction circuit can detect a CM voltage deviation in the serial data, and correct the CM voltage deviation by applying a voltage offset to the plurality of sinusoidal phase signals.

    Abstract: Technologies for providing passive equalization with front-end level shifter (FELS) are described. One receiver device includes an input terminal, an analog signal processing circuit; and a front-end equalizer circuit coupled between the input terminal and the analog signal processing circuit. The front-end equalizer circuit includes a programmable common mode feedback (CMFB) circuit and a passive resistor-inductor-capacitor (RLC) network. The programmable CMFB circuit can receive, from the input terminal, an incoming agnostic common-mode (CM) signal having a first voltage level and a differential peak-to-peak voltage in at least one of an alternating current coupled mode (AC-coupled mode) or a direct current-coupled mode (DC-coupled mode). The programmable CMFB circuit can level shift the incoming agnostic CM signal to a CM signal having a second voltage level using an adjustable current source, the second voltage level corresponding to the analog signal processing circuit.

    Abstract: Technologies for providing temperature compensation in a receiver analog front-end (RX AFE) are described. One receiver device includes an RX AFE circuit with at least one load component and at least one load inductor structure with a closed ring. The RX AFE circuit is subject to circuit parameter variation across a range of temperatures that causes a temperature drift in the receiver device. The closed ring reduces the temperature drift by generating an eddy current to reduce an effective inductance of the at least one load inductor structure. The eddy current depends on an equivalent series resistance (ESR) of the closed ring.

The calibration circuit is to capture and digitize the differential DC signal into a digital stream, measure an error value from the digital stream that is associated with distortion based on the calibration bit pattern, convert the error value into a gradient value, and correct one or more phases of the multi-phase clock to compensate for the distortion based on the gradient value.
