Abstract: A receiving device and method for voice command processing. The receiving device includes a voice data receiving component, configured to receive voice data from a user; a communication component configured to communicate with an external device; a voice recognition component, configured to perform voice recognition on voice data and outputting a recognition result; a determination component, configured to determine whether a first voice command corresponding to a first recognition result exists in a database of the receiving device, wherein an association is established between information of the first voice command for controlling the receiving device and information of a first local instruction inside the receiving device for command execution of the first voice command; and a server data receiving component, configured for acquiring information of the database from a server based on a determination result from the determination component.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a basic format for a 3D signal having a first area to arrange main video data, a second area to arrange graphic data, a third area to arrange depth information of pixels of the main video data, and a fourth area to arrange depth information of pixels of the graphic data are defined. When depth information of pixels of the main video data is generated, a 3D processing module can select whether to use a first pattern obtained by inserting the graphic data into the main video data and a second pattern obtained by not inserting the graphic data into the main video data. A 3D related controller decides on the first or second pattern to be used by the 3D processing module.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device includes a display, a recognition controller, a converter, a browser and a display processor. The recognition controller is configured to analyze broadcast video comprising a two-dimensional code and to recognize the two-dimensional code. The converter is configured to convert the recognized two-dimensional code into address information. The browser is configured to access a web page indicated by the address information and to display the web page on a browser screen. The display processor is configured to display a screen of the broadcast video and the browser screen on the display at the same time.

The memory is configured to store first menu configuration information to compose a first menu screen and second menu configuration information to compose a second menu screen. The output module is configured to output first menu screen display information to display the first menu screen based on the first menu configuration information and content data in response to a selection operation of the first menu screen, and to output second menu screen display information to display the second menu screen based on the second menu configuration information and content data in response to a selection operation of the second menu screen. The setting module is configured to set one of the first menu screen and the second menu screen as a top menu displayed at a startup timing.

Abstract: A content reproducing apparatus includes: a disc drive device that reproduces content recorded on a recording medium; a network controller that controls data transmission between an external server specified by the content reproduced by the disc drive device; a content protection encoder/decoder unit that: (1) encodes a request to be sent to the external server via a proxy server that decodes the request; and (2) decodes a response from the external server being transmitted in response to the request decoded by the proxy server, the response being encoded by the proxy server; and a controller that controls the network controller and the content protection decode/encoder unit.
