Patent number: 11958219Abstract: The present disclosure provides a foam molded product and a manufacturing method. The foam molded product is includes a foam body, an insert material having a display unit or a detection unit attached to the foam body, and a surface material affixed to a surface to which at least the insert material is attached. A manufacturing method includes: preparing a pair of molds including a first mold and a second mold; affixing an insert material and a surface material together such that the surface material is in contact with a molding surface of the first mold; closing the pair of molds; injecting a foam resin into a molding space formed by closing the molds; foaming the foam resin to form a foam body; opening the pair of molds; and removing a molded product in which the affixed part and the foam body are integrated.Type: GrantFiled: March 25, 2019Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: NISSHA CO., LTD.Inventors: Tatsuo Ito, Kenji Okumura, Jun Sasaki, Daichi Hama, Masaru Terashita

Patent number: 11407025Abstract: A casting apparatus for a cylinder block prevents deformation of a core pin and a cast passage formed by the core pin due to impact of molten metal when casting. Embodiments include a first side mold having a first core pin, a second side mold having a second core pin, a third mold having a molten metal inlet, and a metal dowel. The molten metal inlet is disposed so the inflow direction of molten metal intersects the axial direction of the first and second core pins, which are butted against each other at mold clamping and constitute a core for forming a main gallery for lubricant. The metal dowel is disposed between the molten metal inlet and a butt portion between the first and second core pins so that the butt portion is covered by the metal dowel from the upstream side in the inflow direction of the molten metal.Type: GrantFiled: September 22, 2021Date of Patent: August 9, 2022Assignee: MAZDA MOTOR CORPORATIONInventors: Daichi Sasaki, Masatoshi Juri

Patent number: 11173543Abstract: Provided are a stationary mold configured to form a portion of a bearing portion of a crankshaft and a portion of a crankcase, and a movable mold including a plurality of bore pins respectively defining cylinder bores of cylinders. The bore pins are arranged to correspond to a cylinder bank including the plurality of cylinders. The movable mold is matched with the stationary mold such that portions of outermost ones of the plurality of bore pins in a series direction are each inclined away from another one of the plurality of bore pins adjacent to the outermost bore pin in the series direction toward a distal end of the outermost bore pin, where the series direction represents a direction in which the plurality of bore pins are arranged.Type: GrantFiled: November 28, 2018Date of Patent: November 16, 2021Assignee: Mazda Motor CorporationInventors: Daichi Sasaki, Kousuke Izumiuchi

Patent number: 7567251Abstract: Techniques for creating facial animation using a face mesh are provided. The techniques include determining a face mesh sequence. A portion of the face mesh sequence is then fitted to an image of the face. For example, a first frame of the face mesh sequence is fitted to the image. The face image is then projected onto the portion of the face mesh based on the fitting. Also, a hair model may be generated and fitted onto the face mesh sequence. Additionally, changes in color differences between sequences of the face mesh may be computed. The face mesh sequence is then played to create a facial animation sequence for the face image. The color differences that were created may also be added to the sequences as they are being played. Accordingly, the playing of the face mesh sequence creates a realistic facial animation of the image of the face.Type: GrantFiled: March 31, 2006Date of Patent: July 28, 2009Assignees: Sony Corporation, Sony Electronics, Inc.Inventor: Daichi Sasaki

Patent number: 7532750Abstract: An image processing apparatus and method produce sectional image data of a specimen in an arbitrary direction without deterioration of picture quality. A re-construction process produces volume data such that one of coordinate axes of a volume coordinate system such as the z axis is aligned with the principal axis of inertia of a specimen. When sectional image data of the specimen on a certain section are to be produced, from among all voxels which compose the volume data, those voxels whose z coordinates have predetermined values are read out, and the read out voxels are regarded as pixels. As a result, it is not necessary to interpolate pixels, and the deterioration of picture quality arising from interpolation of pixels is prevented.Type: GrantFiled: April 11, 2003Date of Patent: May 12, 2009Assignee: Sony CorporationInventors: Daichi Sasaki, Takahiro Ishii, Naosuke Asari
