  • Publication number: 20230216338
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for controlling an electrical system. The electrical system includes a plurality of backup power sources, such as an electric vehicle battery, a photovoltaic system, and an energy storage system. The electrical system includes a service panel electrically coupled to a plurality of electrical loads. The electrical system includes an energy control system electrically coupled to the plurality of backup power sources, the service panel, and a utility grid. The energy control system converts to a plurality of settings based on the number of available backup power sources. The energy control system determines the availability of the backup power sources according to a predetermined protocol such that one or more backup power sources are prioritized over other backup power sources.

  • Patent number: 11515837
Abstract: Commissioning a solar power monitoring system includes imaging a plurality of labels, wherein each label of the plurality of labels is associated with an electronic component. Further, commissioning the solar power monitoring system includes discovering each electronic component at the same time based on the imaging of the plurality of labels, displaying a list of the discovered electronic components, and commissioning a solar power monitoring system including the discovered electronic components for use.

  • Publication number: 20220247203
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system and method for managing the state of charge of an energy storage system that is used as a backup power supply source in an electrical system. The energy storage system can operate in a selected mode of operation that includes a normal mode, a hibernation mode, and a suspension mode. A controller of the energy control system can determine the selected mode of operation for the energy storage system based on the current time of the day and electronic data related to a backup PV power generation system, the energy storage system, and a plurality of loads.

  • Patent number: 7888847
Abstract: An improved acoustic lens and an improved ultrasonic transducer system comprising an improved acoustic lens and related methods are provided. The improved acoustic lens may have a uniform loss along an elevation axis or may have a loss along the elevation axis that provides for an apodization of an acoustic signal. The improved acoustic lens may be a multi-component lens. In a two-component lens embodiment, the inner lens component, for interfacing with a transducer, may have a concave outer surface and the outer lens component may have a flat or convex outer surface. In a three-component lens embodiment, the inner lens component, for interfacing with a transducer, may have a concave outer surface, the middle lens component may have a concave outer surface and the outer lens component may have a flat or convex outer surface.
