  • Patent number: 8222622
Abstract: A DC power supply 1 is connected with the DC-type high voltage generator 2 that boosts the power supply. A negative output terminal 3 and a positive output terminal 6 of the generator 2 are respectively connected to a cathode electrode 5 and an anode electrode 7. A dielectric sheet 4 with appropriate relative permittivity and certain range of volume resistivity is closely attached on the cathode electrode surface opposed to the anode electrode. The cathode electrode 5 together with the dielectric sheet 4 constitutes a DC-type dielectric barrier electrode 9. The power supply 1 and the generator 2 are disposed on an upper surface of a belt-type attachment 15, and the discharge electrode 9 and the anode electrode 7 are disposed on the lower surface thereof. The electrodes 9 and 7 become opposed to each other upon wrapping the attachment 15 around the affected part of a subject.

  • Publication number: 20110171626
Abstract: An infusion solution bag 11 filled with a physiological saline and an infusion pump 12 are connected to an electron irradiation apparatus 13. The electron irradiation apparatus 13 is connected to a DC-type high voltage generator 2 connected with a DC power supply 1. Using the electron irradiation apparatus 13, an electron-irradiated physiological saline is prepared and administered intravenously to a human body 14. The electron irradiation apparatus 13 has a flow path 16 for the physiological saline inside the cylindrical column. In a first side of the column, a dielectric material 19 is closely attached to a cathode electrode 20. In a second side of the column, a conductive material pad 21 is closely attached to an anode electrode 22. Third and fourth sides between the electrodes 20 and 22 are composed of an insulation material 23 insulating each of the electrodes.

  • Patent number: 5384673
Abstract: A storage apparatus which performs writing and reading of data on a magnetic tape by the helical scan method using a rotary head, in particular one suited to use with a large-sized host computer, which storage apparatus includes mainly a storage control unit connected to the host computer and a drive unit for reading from and writing on the magnetic tape. System areas are formed on the magnetic tapes, which system areas have tables which include management information relating to the magnetic tapes themselves and able to be renewed by the storage control unit. By using these tables, the magnetic tapes can be easily accessed at a high speed, diagnosed as to trouble, and managed in data blocks.

  • Patent number: 4445146
Abstract: In an apparatus for reproducing video signals recorded in successive parallel tracks extending obliquely on a record tape, which apparatus includes a rotary head repeatedly scanning across the tape generally in a direction along the tracks for reproducing the signals recorded therein while the tape is advanced longitudinally at a selected speed for achieving a desired reproducing mode, and a head deflecting device, such as, a bi-morph leaf, responsive to a drive voltage for deflecting the head in a direction transverse to said direction along the tracks; a tracking control system is provided with a circuit for detecting a deviation of the reproducing tape speed from a normal speed, preferably by detecting a frequency deviation of a sync signal included in the signals reproduced by the rotary head when scanning one of the tracks, and providing a first digital output in correspondence thereto, a circuit for detecting a phase deviation of a sync signal included in the reproduced signals, for example, the reprodu
