  • Publication number: 20240270270
Abstract: A driving assistance apparatus configured to perform a driving assistance for a first vehicle and a second vehicle traveling at an intersection where no traffic light is installed. The driving assistance apparatus includes an electronic control unit including a microprocessor, wherein the microprocessor is configured to perform: recognizing a surrounding environment around the first vehicle; determining a presence or absence of the second vehicle in the surrounding environment; setting a display mode of the virtual traffic light for the first vehicle and the second vehicle, based on information acquired through a communication unit of each of the first vehicle and the second vehicle and a determination result of the presence or absence of the second vehicle; and transmitting information indicating the display mode to the first vehicle and the second vehicle through the communication unit.

  • Publication number: 20230184892
Abstract: An evaluation device 1 evaluates a quality of a bumper 3 in a vehicle including a radar 2 that detects a target T by irradiating an outside of a vehicle body B with an electromagnetic wave along an optical axis and the bumper 3 that shields the radar 2. The evaluation device 1 includes an intensity parameter measurer 11 that measures and an intensity parameter value of the reflected wave passing through the bumper 3 and received from the target T by the radar 2, an angle information acquirer 12 that that acquires angle information : on an angle of a a direction of arrival of the reflected wave from the target T with respect to the optical axis; and a quality evaluator 15 that evaluates the quality of the bumper 3. based on the intensity parameter value, a predetermined reference value for the intensity parameter value, and the angle information.

  • Publication number: 20180086338
Abstract: When a host vehicle makes a lane change from a first lane into a second lane, an approach suppression control unit of a travel assist device monitors whether or not another vehicle, which is traveling in a third lane existing on an opposite side from the first lane with the second lane interposed therebetween, is making a lane change into the second lane. In the case it is determined that the other vehicle is making a lane change from the third lane into the second lane, the approach suppression control unit implements an approach suppression control for suppressing the host vehicle and the other vehicle from approaching each other.
