  • Publication number: 20240060380
Abstract: In one aspect there is provided a remote actuated rotary wellhead connection system for connecting pressure control equipment to a wellhead. The system comprises a flange assembly connectable to the wellhead, a crossover, a nut assembly to threadably secure the crossover to the flange assembly, and a nut assembly actuator to actuate the nut assembly between a threaded, connected state and an unthreaded, disconnected state. The crossover is connectable to the pressure control equipment, and the nut assembly actuator is remotely actuatable.

  • Publication number: 20230009411
Abstract: A heater comprises a combustion chamber and a jacket extending about the combustion chamber. There is a fan having an output which communicates with the combustion chamber to provide combustion air. There is also a fuel delivery system having a variable delivery rate. A burner assembly is connected to the combustion chamber. The burner assembly has a burner mounted thereon adjacent the combustion chamber. The burner receives fuel from the fuel delivery system. There is an exhaust system extending from the combustion chamber. An oxygen sensor is positioned in the exhaust system to detect oxygen content of exhaust gases. There is a control system operatively coupled to the oxygen sensor and the fuel delivery system. The control system controls the delivery rate of the fuel delivery system according to the oxygen content of the exhaust gases.

  • Patent number: 11428063
Abstract: The described pack-off assembly includes a tubular sleeve that is configured to selectively encompass a pack-off wireline seal and that is positionable through selective application of pressurized fluid to one or more actuation chambers that interact with a piston portion of the sleeve. Pressure may be applied to position the sleeve to encompass the seal to engage a wireline and enable pressure-control wireline operations. A different pressure may be applied to position the sleeve to expose the seal for servicing.

  • Publication number: 20210156216
Abstract: A coil-tubing ram blowout preventer is disclosed that includes a ram block and ram-block cavity each having a D-shaped cross section. The flat portion of the ram block's ā€œDā€ corresponds to the flat portion of the cavity's ā€œDā€ to prevent rotation of the ram block within the ram-block cavity. The ram block may be configured with selectively replaceable seals, slips, or shear blades to allow easy configuration of the ram block for various sizes of tubing. The shear blades may include a sealing component on one surface of the blade such that paired shear-ram-blocks may create two distinct sealing points when each sealing component engages the other blade when the shear rams are closed.
