  • Publication number: 20190285011
Abstract: An evaporated fuel processing device may include: a canister; a purge passage through which purge gas sent from the canister to an intake passage passes; a pump; a control valve disposed on the purge passage and configured to switch between a communication state and a cutoff state; a specifying device configured to specify an evaporated fuel concentration of the purge gas in the purge passage when the purge gas is to be supplied from the canister to the intake passage. A controller may be configured to switch the control valve based on at least a first cycle and a second cycle which is longer than the first cycle. The specifying device may specify the evaporated fuel concentration of the purge gas in the purge passage while the pump is active and the control valve is in the cutoff state in the second cycle.

  • Publication number: 20190203666
Abstract: An evaporated fuel processing device may comprise a canister, a control valve disposed on a purge passage and switching between a closed state being a state of closing the purge passage and an open state being a state of opening the purge passage, a pump disposed between the canister and the control valve, an acquiring unit acquiring a characteristic value related to a characteristic of the pump in a situation where the control valve is in the closed state and the pump pressurizes gas in the purge passage on a control valve side relative to the pump, and an estimating unit estimating a flow rate of the gas that the pump discharges to the purge passage on the control valve side when the control valve is in the open state, by using the acquired characteristic value.

  • Publication number: 20190145354
Abstract: A device may determine whether there is a communicated point with open air between a pump and a control valve or on an opposite side to the control valve of the pump, by at least two of pressures: between the pump and the control valve in case the control valve is in a cutoff state, the switching valve is in a communication state, and the pump sends in forward direction, on an opposite side to the control valve of to the pump in case the control valve is in a communication state, the switching valve is in the cutoff state, and the pump sends in reverse direction; and between the pump and the control valve or on the opposite side to the control valve of the pump in case the valves are in the cutoff states and the pump is stopped after one of these cases.

  • Publication number: 20190113007
Abstract: An evaporated fuel processing device may include: a canister configured to adsorb fuel evaporated in a fuel tank; a purge passage through which a purge gas sent from the canister to the intake passage passes; a control valve provided on the purge passage and having a variable aperture; and a differential pressure sensor configured to detect a pressure difference between an upstream side and a downstream side of the control valve.

  • Publication number: 20190072061
Abstract: A vehicle gas processing device is configured to supply gas generated by a vehicle to an intake pipe of a combustion engine. The device may includes: a gas pipe configured to communicate a gas generation source to the intake pipe, the gas pipe having a flexible end at least at an intake pipe side of the gas pipe; a check valve disposed between the intake pipe and the gas pipe, and configured to allow the gas to flow from the gas pipe toward the intake pipe and prohibit the gas to flow from the intake pipe toward the gas pipe; and a determining unit configured to determine that the gas pipe is detached from the check valve. The check valve is fixed to the intake pipe, and the gas pipe is detachably attached to the check valve.
