  • Patent number: 6334035
Abstract: A developer container which has a container main body includes an opening through which a developer is supplied, a seal member for unsealably sealing the opening, and a drive source for applying a force for unsealing the seal member. The drive source has an elastic member and the drive source applies the unsealing force using a restoring force of the elastic member.

  • Publication number: 20010043814
Abstract: A developer container for containing a developer includes a detecting member for detecting developer amount which is an electrode member having a pair of input-side and output-side electrodes formed in parallel and in one plane at a predetermined interval and adapted to detect capacitance between the electrodes and which has a measurement-side electrode that is in contact with the developer and a reference electrode that is out of contact with the developer, the detecting member being provided on a side surface of the developer container, a developer removing member for removing developer adhering to a detection surface of the detecting member, the developer removing member being attached to the developer conveying member and in contact with the detection surface of the detecting member so as to remove developer on the detection surface of the detecting member, a developer conveying member for conveying the developer toward a developer bearing member, and an acting member acting by a torque of the developer r

  • Publication number: 20010009624
Abstract: A developer accommodating container accommodates a developer. A developing container where the developer is supplied from the developer accommodating container is swingably connected to the developer accommodating container. The developer accommodating container includes a developer accommodating portion for accommodating the developer, and a plurality of rotatable conveying members, provided in the developer accommodating portion, for conveying the developer. The plurality of conveying members includes a first conveying member, provided at a portion closest to the developing container, for conveying the developer to the developing container. The first conveying member out of the plurality of conveying members has a largest angular velocity and a smallest radius of rotation.

  • Patent number: 5241662
Abstract: A plug-in data cartridge for a printer or a similar device. The cartridge contains an addressable memory and an address generator. In response to a designation of a starting address, the address generator in the cartridge addresses a sequence of memory locations of the memory which is also in the cartridge so that the data can be supplied to the printer. Because only a few starting addresses need to be designated, a low number of address lines is needed, and the number of pins for plugging in the cartridge can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 4872091
Abstract: A memory cartridge for use with a printer, a copier, a word processor and other electronic equipment as an external memory. A connector corresponding to that of the equipment is provided on one end of a casing which accommodates a printed circuit board, which is loaded with memory devices. A plurality of memory cartridges may be connected to a buffer of the equipment via the individual connectors. A grounding plate for making contact with a grounding portion of the printed circuit board is disposed on the memory cartridge close to the connector. This reliably connects the memory cartridge to ground. Further, since which one of the memory cartridges is selected can be determined, it is not necessary for the equipment to be provided with buffers and related circuits in one-to-one correspondence to the memory cartridges.

  • Patent number: 4449151
Abstract: A solid-state scanning apparatus for scanning the surface of an original to convert light information into electrical signals suitable for application to a facsimile system is provided. The scanning apparatus comprises a stationary original holder, on which an original to be scanned is placed, a stationary optical system including a solid-state line sensor comprised of at least two CCD image sensing devices arranged in a line to carry out the split scanning with a predetermined overlapping scanning section between the two adjacent scanning sections, a pair of first and second storing devices provided for each of said CCD image sensing devices, a control circuit for controlling the operation of the CCD image sensing devices and the storing devices, and a reciprocatingly movable mirror system for leading the light information of the original to the solid-state line sensor.
