Abstract: An image reproducing apparatus includes: a memory which stores a plurality of motion picture files; an image reproducing controller which performs an analyzing operation to analyze the motion picture file; a first buffer which stores a result of analysis about the motion picture file, wherein the controller performs a reading operation to read out image data from the motion picture file stored in the memory; and a second buffer which stores the image data, wherein the controller reproduces the image data stored in the second buffer, based on the result of analysis stored in the first buffer. During the reproduction of the image data, the analyzing operation starts to analyze the motion picture file and the reading operation starts to read out the image data.
