The printing apparatus includes a printing unit to form an image according to print data, a displaying device to display information concerning an operation of the printing apparatus, a first storage unit to store first user information, which identifies a user of an information processing apparatus, in association with a user-specific thumbnail image, which is to be displayed in the displaying device to identify the print job provided by the user, a first judging unit to determine as to whether the print job includes first security information, which is specified by the user to prevent contents of the print data from being disclosed, and the first user information, and a first display control unit to display the user-specific thumbnail image when the first judging unit determines that the print job includes the first security information and the first user information.

Abstract: A print controlling device for transmitting printer controlling information to a printer connected thereto is configured such that print setting data is generated based on desired print settings which may include operational control setting data in accordance with a setting by a user. The print controlling device is capable of generating print data including the print setting data as header information thereof, and converting the print data to the printer controlling information. When the print data is converted, it is judged whether the print setting data included in the print data contains the operational control setting. If the print setting data includes the operational control setting, job controlling information which corresponds to the operational control setting is transmitted to the printer.

Abstract: An image forming data preprocessing system for preprocessing first image forming data decides whether the first image forming data contains an object of a specific type or not. The system executes a suppression processing if it is decided that the first image forming data contains the object of the specific type. The suppression processing includes converting at least a part of the image forming data to provide second image forming data. The second image forming data is smaller in a required colorant consumption amount than the first image forming data.

Abstract: A printer controlling device capable of operating in a collate mode includes a transmitting unit configured to transmit print data representing the entire document to be printed on printing sheets and a copy command representing only one copy of the entire document is made, and adjudging unit configured to judge whether the number of sheets necessary for printing one copy of the entire document is one or more than one after the transmitting unit transmits the print data representing the entire document to be printed and the copy command representing only one copy of the entire document. The transmitting unit further transmits the print data and the copy command in different manners depending on whether the judging unit judges that the number of sheets necessary for printing one copy of the document is one or more than one.

Abstract: There is provided an information processing device, which comprises a determination unit to analyze a main image and a watermark image to be added to the main image to determine an overlap part of the main image and the watermark image, a transparency adjustment unit to adjust transparency of the overlap part in the watermark image to first transparency, and an overlap processing unit to obtain an overlap image of the main image and the watermark image of which transparency is adjusted by the transparency adjustment unit by overlaying the watermark image of which transparency is adjusted on the main image.

Abstract: There is provided an information processing device which comprises a transparency adjustment unit to adjust transparency of a watermark image which is to be added to a main image to prepare data of a first image having first transparency and data of a second image having second transparency, wherein each of the first and second images corresponds to the watermark image and the first transparency of the first image is higher than the second transparency of the second image. The information processing device further comprises an overlap processing unit to generate data of an overlap image of the main image, the first image and the second image such that the second image, the main image and the first image overlap with each other in bottom-to-top order.

Abstract: An information-processing device for combining a plurality of pages including image data to printing image data printed on one sheet, and converting the combined pages to input image data for a image forming device is disclosed. When a multi-page print instruction is issued, a data generation unit in the information-processing device sets a maximum number N for combining the pages to one sheet, determines the size and the orientation of the sheet to be fed to an image forming point in the image forming device, and reserves a data storing region in an image buffer for producing the printing image data. The data generation unit produces the printing image data having the same orientation as that of the sheet fed in the image forming device when combining the page. Therefore, a process for rotating the printing image data itself is not necessary.

Abstract: This invention relates to a removable grade hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive comprising from about 5% to about 30% by weight of the adhesive of a block copolymer having styrene endblocks and ethylene/butylene or ethylene/propylene midblocks and having a coupling efficiency of less than about 65% and a melt index of greater than about 20 grams/10 minutes; from about 10% to about 50% by weight of the adhesive of at least one block copolymer having styrene endblocks and a coupling efficiency from about 65% to about 100%; from about 20% to about 60% by weight of the adhesive of a tackifying resin and from about 10% to about 40% by weight of the adhesive of a liquid plasticizing oil.
