The electricity storage device has a separator substrate provided with at least one protective layer between a pair of electrodes, in which the protective layer includes a polymer of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer, and a silane compound, and the silane compound has no ethylenically unsaturated group but has an alkyl group having 3 to 12 carbon atoms.
