The processing circuitry regenerates the synchronization clock from a first wireless signal transmitted by the main apparatus, and detects a timing where a second wireless signal transmitted by the main apparatus is received. The second timer operates on the synchronization clock. The magnetic resonance imaging apparatus performs synchronized imaging operations by correcting at least one of the first timer provided to the main apparatus and the second timer provided to the coil apparatus according to the timing.
