  • Patent number: 11393128
Abstract: An adhered substance detection apparatus of an embodiment includes a calculator and a determiner. The calculator calculates an edge feature for each cell based on edge vectors of pixels within the cell in a captured image, and further calculates a region feature for each unit region based on the calculated edge features of the cells within the unit region. The determiner determines an adherence state of an adhered substance on a lens of a camera based on the region feature. The calculator calculates, as the region feature, number of the cells having an edge strength of zero. When the number of the cells having the zero edge strength is equal to or greater than a predetermined number in a predetermined attention area in the captured image, the determiner determines not to perform a determination for detecting whether the lens of the camera is entirely covered by the adhered substance.

  • Patent number: 11381740
Abstract: An image pickup apparatus, image processing apparatus and corresponding program and method are disclosed. In one example, a second captured image acquired from another apparatus is aligned with a first captured image. Image stabilization is carried out in response to a positional relation between the captured images. For example, when overlapping between the captured images is equal to or smaller than an image stabilization limitation threshold value, the image stabilization is stopped or a correction range is limited for at least one of the captured images. When the amount of overlapping is larger than the image stabilization limitation threshold value, the image stabilization for both of the captured images is carried out without limitation. The captured images are aligned with each other by using the captured image with limited image stabilization, or both captured images where stabilization is carried out without limitation, thereby producing a panoramic image.

  • Patent number: 11354521
Abstract: Techniques described herein relate to facilitating end-to-end multilingual communications with automated assistants. In various implementations, speech recognition output may be generated based on voice input in a first language. A first language intent may be identified based on the speech recognition output and fulfilled in order to generate a first natural language output candidate in the first language. At least part of the speech recognition output may be translated to a second language to generate an at least partial translation, which may then be used to identify a second language intent that is fulfilled to generate a second natural language output candidate in the second language. Scores may be determined for the first and second natural language output candidates, and based on the scores, a natural language output may be selected for presentation.

  • Publication number: 20220140308
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a positive electrode plate, wherein even when a positive electrode mix layer is densely compressed, the positive electrode plate is prevented from being so greatly bent that wrinkles created in non-coated regions during transport, winding, or lamination develop into deep winkles or cracks, thus avoiding the inability to transport or wind the positive electrode plate. This manufacturing method can provide a positive electrode plate having a positive electrode mix layer formed on the surface thereof, wherein the filling density of the positive electrode mix layer is at least 3.4 g/cm3, and the warpage amount h of the positive electrode plate in the width direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction satisfies 0.0?h?3.0 mm per 1 m in the longitudinal direction.
