  • Patent number: 11510610
Abstract: The present invention provides an eating monitoring method for judging whether chewing is performed or not by a chewing judgment algorithm on the basis of a temporal variation in a measured value of a sensor unit configured to detect a movement of a jaw while a person takes a meal, the person wearing a detection device comprising the sensor unit. The method includes the steps of: adjusting the chewing judgment algorithm on the basis of a variation in a measured value of the sensor unit, the variation corresponding to a chewing action or a mouth opening/closing action of the person wearing the detection device; and judging whether chewing is performed or not by the chewing judgment algorithm which has been adjusted, and measuring the number of chews on the basis of a temporal variation in a measured value of the sensor unit during the meal.

  • Publication number: 20120200786
Abstract: The present invention has an object to provide a lighting device enabled to reduce a cost. A plurality of light source units U, formed by arranging a plurality of light source modules 30A on an LED board 18, arranged parallel to each other constitutes a backlight unit 12. In the backlight unit 12, the plurality of light source modules 30 in one LED board 18 includes a light source module 30A and a light source module 30B. The light source module 30A has an optical directivity directing light therefrom into a first direction in a plan view. The first direction is along an arrangement direction of the light source units U. The light source module 30B has an optical directivity directing light therefrom into a second direction opposite to the first direction in a plan view.

  • Publication number: 20100010775
Abstract: The present invention is characterized in that a time elapsed since activation can be retained even after a time timer is updated to time information externally acquired, by updating a value in the time timer that starts count-up after activation with the time information externally acquired, and by subtracting a value of the time timer from the acquired time information and reflecting this subtracted value into a reference time storage part.
