  • Publication number: 20040049027
Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel titanyl phthalocyanine crystal which can prepare a coating solution having excellent storage stability because it satisfies both of the following two characteristics (a) and (b), a method of producing the same, an electrophotosensitive material using the above crystal as an electric charge generating material.
    Type: Application
    Filed: August 27, 2003
    Publication date: March 11, 2004
Inventors: Kazunari Hamasaki, Daisuke Kuboshima, Hisakazu Honma, Jun Azuma, Eiichi Miyamoto
  • Patent number: 6653034
Abstract: The present invention relates to a stilbeneamine derivative represented by a formula (1): wherein Ar1 and Ar2 each denote an aryl group; Ar3 denotes an arylene group; Ar4 denotes an arylene group or divalent heterocyclic group; provided that when a thiophene ring in the formula is 2-thiophenyl, ‘n’ is 1 and when the thiophene ring is 3-thiophenyl, ‘n’ is 0 or 1, and also relates to an electrophotosensitive material comprising a photosensitive layer containing this derivative. The derivative is excellent in electric charge transferring capability, compatibility with a binder resin and stability, thus offering the electrophotosensitive material superior to the prior-art products in sensitivity and repeatability.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 9, 2002
Date of Patent: November 25, 2003
    Assignee: Kyocera Mita Corporation
    Inventors: Yoshio Inagaki, Daisuke Kuboshima
  • Patent number: 6528645
Abstract: The present invention relates to a titanyl phthalocyanine crystal having excellent storage stability of coating solution, to satisfy that (a) the crystal does not have a peak of a change in temperature except for a peak associated with evaporation of adsorbed water in differential scanning calorimetry or that (b) the crystal recovered after dipping in an organic solvent for 24 hours at least a maximum peak at a Bragg angle 2&thgr;±0.2°=27.2° and has no peak at 26.2° in a CuK &agr; characteristic X-ray diffraction spectrum, and a method of producing the same; and an electrophotosensitive material using the above crystal, and a method of producing the same.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 6444385
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrophotosensitive material wherein a layer containing a binder resin and a pigment among a photosensitive layer is formed by applying and drying a coating solution prepared by dispersing the binder resin and the pigment in a dispersion medium containing alcohol represented by the formula (1): wherein R1, R2 and R3 are the same or different and represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group; the electrophotosensitive material is free from lowering of the sensitivity due to formation of agglomerates of the pigment and is superior in sensitivity characteristics.
