A light-emitting element emitting visible light, an infrared light-emitting element emitting infrared light, and a light-receiving element that has sensitivity to infrared light are provided in a display region. In the period in which black display is performed, the infrared light-emitting element emits light and light exposure is performed on the light-receiving element.
