  • Publication number: 20120106042
Abstract: A terminal device 7 includes a housing 50, and a first terminal (charging terminal). The housing 50 is generally plate-shaped and includes an engagement hole formed therein. The first terminal is provided on a surface (bottom surface) of the housing 50 on which the engagement hole is formed. A stand 210, which is a support device, includes a support member 211, a second terminal (charging terminal) 212, and guide members 213a and 213b which are rotating members. The second terminal 212 can be connected to a terminal of the terminal device 7. The support member 211 supports a predetermined surface (back surface) of the housing 50 when the first terminal and the second terminal 212 are connected to each other. Each of the guide members 213a and 213b can rotate in a predetermined direction and is provided at such a position that it is inserted into the engagement hole when the first terminal and the second terminal 212 are connected to each other.

  • Publication number: 20120106041
Abstract: A terminal device 7 is a controller device to be operated by a user. The terminal device 7 includes a generally plate-shaped housing 50, an LCD 51, and a projecting portion (an eaves portion 59). The LCD 51 is provided on the front side of the housing 50. The projecting portion is provided so as to project at least at left and right positions on a back side of the housing 50 above the center of the housing 50. When the user holds the left and right portions of the housing 50 with respect to the LCD 51, the user can easily hold the terminal device 7 by holding it so as to allow the projecting portion to rest on the fingers.

  • Publication number: 20090209346
Abstract: A sports video game having a new and improved user interface that substantially increases the potential realism of the game uses a handheld controller that is able to sense its own position, orientation and/or motion and is affixed to a ball. The ball can be a model of a football that is provided with a depression that snugly accepts and retains the handheld controller. The handheld controller may sense motion, position and/or orientation of the ball and provide wireless inputs to a video game system. The video game system may process such inputs to provide a simulated sports action game play on a video display.
