  • Publication number: 20160048786
Abstract: A method and associated system for managing a plurality of projects. A project image representing each project is displayed in a position on a diagram for reflecting a progress status of each project. A degree of association between projects is calculated on the basis of influence information indicating that work of a project is affected by work of another project and resource information indicating resources allocated to the respective projects. A display unit displays, on the basis of the calculated degree of association between the projects, an association degree image indicating a degree of association between one project and another project in association with a project image representing the one project and a project image representing the other project on the diagram.

  • Patent number: 9122343
Abstract: A method, computer program product and system for facilitating operation of controls displayed in a display surface independently of the size of the display surface. The system includes a touchscreen which displays a screen on the display surface and which inputs an operation point operated by a user on the display surface, and a conversion unit that defines a point which is in a predetermined positional relationship with an operation point operated by the user on the touchscreen as an operation point to be operated. In response to input of an operation on an edge of the display surface, the conversion unit may define as the operation point to be operated a point that is positioned in a center area of the display surface except its edges and that is in a predetermined positional relationship with the operation point at which the edge of the display surface was operated.

Another aspect includes receiving a plurality of character strings inputted by a user for an application. Another aspect includes converting a character string of the plurality of character strings to generate a completion candidate character string. Another aspect includes referencing the database when the character string includes a keyword, and presenting, to the user, completion candidate character strings and conversion candidate objects as a conversion candidate list. Another aspect includes generating a command corresponding to a selected conversion candidate object in response to selection of one of the conversion candidate objects from the conversion candidate list by the user.

  • Patent number: 8643672
Abstract: Evaluating a delivered video using a marker. A marker can be generated to be superimposed and displayed on an evaluation range from coordinate values specifying the evaluation range input to evaluate the video and that adds the marker to the video and causing the video with the marker to be deliver. An image can be generated in the evaluation range at predetermined intervals starting from the input time of the coordinate values. A similarity between two images arranged in the order of time from the input time by comparing the two images can be calculated, and a determination can be made whether the similarity is within an allowable range. The time of one of the two images generated as an extinction time of the displayed marker can be selected when the similarity is determined to be not within the allowable range.

  • Publication number: 20130232173
Abstract: Displaying pieces of data includes displaying a tree structure on a display device, identifying, in response to a first node being selected from among nodes constituting the displayed tree structure, all nodes connected to the first node in a high-order direction and a low-order direction as a first node group, and identifying, in response to a second node being selected, the second node not being included in the first node group, all nodes connected to the second node in the high-order direction and the low-order direction as a second node group. The second node moves toward the first node according to an operation. A node not to be displayed is determined according to a rule and movement of the second node group. A display device is instructed to display the first node group and the second node group close to each other omitting display of the determined node.
