Abstract: A display apparatus and a display method are provided capable of displaying an image in a desirably adjusted state upon execution of an application program. In the display apparatus, a command for display position is inputted to the touch panel and according to such an input, a determining section determines an application program, and display adjusting section adjusts a display position of an image appearing upon execution of the application program so that the image appears at a desired display position on a liquid crystal panel.

Abstract: An MFP includes a printing portion, a print pattern setting portion, a print pattern conversion portion that carries out conversion into a set print pattern for each color composing the image data having undergone a gradation change when printing is carried out at a gradation different from that of input image data, a display portion that displays a preview of the converted image data, and an image processing portion that lets a user give an instruction on whether or not to execute printing of the image data after a preview of the image data is displayed. When no instruction to execute printing is given, the print pattern setting portion causes the display portion to display a plurality of other print patterns different from a print pattern added to the image data to let the user select a desired print pattern out of the plurality of other print patterns.

Abstract: A printer driver comprising: a layout determining section that acquires data of a document page (logical page) and determines a layout of one or more printing pages (physical pages) by allocating a content of the logical page; a re-layout determining section that makes determination whether the determined layout includes an combinable pages or not, based on a ratio of a blank area in the physical page and based on presence/absence of continuity in the contents between the page and the immediately preceding physical page or based on an arrangement characteristic of a non-blank area in the physical page, when one logical page is allocated to plural physical pages; and a page combination control section that causes the layout determining section to determine a combined layout by re-allocating the combinable page and immediately preceding physical page to a single physical page based on the determination.
