The vehicle operation system may calculate a display position on a display using a calculation result of the gripping position calculation unit and a position coordinate of the steering wheel. The display is arranged farther than the steering wheel from a visual line position of the driver. The display position is not hidden behind a hand of the driver and the steering wheel. The vehicle operation system may display display information indicating a content of the operation on the steering wheel at the display position.
