The first plane has a first contact surface that is in contact with the conductive member, and the ridge portion has a second contact surface that is in contact with the conductive member and in a cross section orthogonal to each of the first plane and the second plane and intersecting the conductive member, the first contact surface, and the second contact surface.

Abstract: An electronic component includes a body, an inner conductor inside the body, and an outer electrode that lies on part of at least a first main surface of the body and includes an underlying electrode and a plating electrode with which the underlying electrode is covered.
