    Abstract: A connector includes a housing, and a terminal fitting. The terminal fitting includes a base portion disposed at a lower side of the connector, a contact portion, and a spring portion. At least one end of the base portion is fixed to the housing. The contact portion is brought into an electrical contact with a counterpart terminal that is inserted and assembled into the housing from above. The spring portion has one end connected to the base portion and another end connected to the contact portion so as to displaceably support the contact portion. The spring portion includes a protruding portion that is curved so as to bulge in one of an upward direction or a downward direction.
