  • Patent number: 6697646
Abstract: A transceiver comprises a vibration motor for vibrating the transceiver itself in order to notice a call to a user. The vibration motor is driven when a receiving unit issues a received signal in a vibration mode. The vibration motor is prohibited, for a specific time, from being driven when the user operates a specific action such as pushing a transmission button. The transceiver can make a recipient pay attention by vibration without disturbing the user attending, for example, a meeting. Since the vibration motor is not driven while a transmission or reception is repeated within the specific time, users can talk smoothly with the transceiver.

  • Patent number: 6250458
Abstract: A plastic conveyor chain includes a multiplicity of pinned links each having a flat load-carrying portion formed from a synthetic resin compound containing a polyacetal resin and a silicone-containing lubricant. Preferably, the silicone-containing lubricant contains, with respect to the weight of the synthetic resin compound, 0.5 to 2.0% by weight of silicone oil, 0.5 to 2.0% by weight of potassium titanate fiber, and 0.5 to 2.0% by weight of fatty ester obtained from a monobasic fatty acid and a monohydric alcohol. The thus formed flat load-carrying portion has a low friction coefficient such that the conveyor chain can achieve stable conveyance of articles even when the articles have an unstable bottom configuration.

  • Patent number: 5530061
Abstract: A process for producing an impact-resistant polyacetal resin composition, which comprises a first step of mixing with shear a polyacetal resin (A), a thermoplastic polyurethane (B) and a polyhydric alcohol (C) having at least three hydroxyl groups in the molecule at a temperature of 180.degree. to 250.degree. C. and at a temperature at which said polyacetal resin (A) and said thermoplastic polyurethane (B) melt; and a second step of mixing with shear the resulting mixture obtained in the first step, in the presence of at least one compound (D) selected from the group consisting of a polyisocyanate (d.sub.1) and a compound (d.sub.2) which generates a polyisocyanate under heat, at a temperature of 180.degree. to 250.degree. C. and at a temperature at which said polyacetal resin (A) and said thermoplastic polyurethane (B) melt.
