Abstract: [Overview] [Problem to be Solved] To provide an information processing apparatus that makes it possible to stably secure time for receiving audio data when reproducing audio data while receiving audio data. [Solution] An information processing apparatus including: an audio buffer unit; a reproduction time calculation unit; a position decision unit; and an insertion unit. The audio buffer unit retains first audio data that have not been reproduced in the first audio data received from another apparatus via a transmission path. The reproduction time calculation unit calculates a reproduction time of second audio data on the basis of at least any of a state of the first audio data retained in the audio buffer unit or a state of the transmission path. The second audio data are to be inserted and reproduced while the first audio data are being reproduced. The position decision unit decides an insertion position of the second audio data in the first audio data.
Abstract: A valve includes a first plate, a side wall plate, a second plate, and a third plate. The first plate has a plurality of first vent holes. The second plate constitutes a valve chamber along with the first plate and the side wall plate. The second plate includes a second principal surface opposing a first principal surface of the first plate. The second plate has a plurality of second vent holes. The third plate has a plurality of third vent holes. The plurality of third vent holes overlaps with the plurality of first vent holes without overlapping with the plurality of second vent holes in a plan view in a direction in which the first plate and the second plate oppose each other. Both principal surfaces of the third plate oppose the first principal surface and the second principal surface. The third plate is disposed in the valve chamber.
Abstract: A method and system for predicting the occurrence of a knock which will have a predetermined intensity or higher (intense knock) in an engine that burns an air-fuel mixture of gasoline fuel. The pressure in a combustion chamber is detected during an initial stage of combustion. This pressure is compared with a preset reference value to determine whether or not the cylinder inner pressure exceeds the reference value during the combustion. When the cylinder inner pressure exceeds the reference value, it is predicted that the intense knock will occur before an end of the combustion. If the intense knock is predicted, additional fuel or other material can be injected into the combustion chamber to prevent the occurrence of the intense knock.
