  • Patent number: 11680583
Abstract: A construction machine includes a centrifugal fan, and a bell mouth arranged on the suction side of the centrifugal fan. The centrifugal fan has a rotatable hub, an annular shroud arranged so as to face the hub and having a suction port, and multiple blades provided between the hub and the shroud. An outlet of the bell mouth is arranged on the radially inner side of the suction port of the shroud. Each blade is formed such that: a leading edge has a convex shape protruding toward a suction surface relative to a line segment linking a connection of the leading edge with the hub and a connection of the leading edge with the shroud; and a vertex of the convex shape of the leading edge is positioned on a radially inner side of a wall surface of the outlet of the bell mouth when the suction side of the centrifugal fan is seen in an axis direction.

  • Publication number: 20190277569
Abstract: Provided is a heat exchanger which includes: a flat pipe as a heat transfer pipe in which refrigerant flows; and multiple fins having openings for inserting the flat pipe and arranged at a predetermined interval in a length direction of the flat pipe. At the flat pipe, multiple linear cutouts used for positioning the multiple fins are formed at the predetermined interval in the length direction of the flat pipe, and at least part of an edge of each opening contacts a corresponding one of the cutouts.

  • Patent number: 10274209
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an indoor unit of an air conditioner includes a housing, a centrifugal fan arranged inside the housing, and a heat exchanger arranged so as to surround the centrifugal fan, in which the heat exchanger includes an area cut in a direction of rotation of the centrifugal fan. A current plate provided at a final portion of the heat exchanger in the direction of the rotation of the centrifugal fan includes a first face which is extended in a height direction of the heat exchanger and blocks an air flow produced between the centrifugal fan and the heat exchanger and a second face protruded from the first face in a direction opposite the air flow. The indoor unit has an advantageous effect to suppress an inflow of air to a space where the heat exchanger is cut in the indoor unit to reduce the power consumption.

  • Publication number: 20160252259
Abstract: An indoor unit of an air conditioner of the present invention includes a cabinet; an air inlet through which air is sucked into the cabinet; a centrifugal fan which blows the air sucked in to the surrounding portions; and an a heat exchanger which is provided in the direction of air supply of the centrifugal fan and allows heat exchange between the air and a refrigerant flowing thereinside, in which the following equation is satisfied: 0.16?L/D?0.19, where D is an outer diameter of the centrifugal fan and L is a distance between the centrifugal fan and the heat exchanger in their closest positions. Thus, a variation in a velocity distribution created in the heat exchanger can be suppressed, and the indoor unit of the air conditioner which achieves an improved energy saving property due to a reduced pressure loss and an improved heat exchange efficiency of the heat exchanger can be provided.
