  • Publication number: 20210264103
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for automating the process of form creation. In particular, the present invention relates to a method and apparatus for implementing an independent and standardized way to create new data records and data types, and amend existing data records and types, in a computerized form creation and processing system.

  • Patent number: 5611938
Abstract: This invention relates to biocidal blends comprising quaternary ammonium compounds and chlorine dioxide. It also relates to a process of inhibiting the growth of bacteria in aqueous system which comprises adding the biocidal blend to an aqueous system containing bacteria. The use of the biocidal blend results in an unexpected synergism.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 28, 1995
Date of Patent: March 18, 1997
    Assignee: Ashland Inc.
Inventors: Nancy A. Smolik, Linda H. Rusznak, Dale A. Jenson
  • Patent number: 5562835
Abstract: This invention relates to a process for reducing the population of bacteria in aqueous systems which comprises co-treating said aqueous system with 2,2-dibromo-3-nitrilopropionamide and chlorine dioxide under the conditions specified herein. By co-treating an aqueous system with both 2,2-dibromo-3-nitrilopropionamide and chlorine dioxide, one can achieve a more effective biocidal effect with the same amount of biocide than if either the 2,2-dibromo-3-nitrilopropionamide or chlorine dioxide are used separately.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 27, 1995
Date of Patent: October 8, 1996

  • Patent number: 5382520
Abstract: An automated process for controlling the rate chlorine dioxide made from sodium chlorate-chloride and sulfuric acid is generated. The process automatically adjusts the rate of chlorine dioxide production to the needs of the system treated with chlorine dioxide by controlling the feed of one or more of the reactants by means of a multiple feed-back loop system which provides adequate oxidative treatment while avoiding overfeed or underfeed conditions.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 14, 1993
Date of Patent: January 17, 1995
    Assignee: Drew Chemical Corporation
Inventors: Dale A. Jenson, Sam F. Eltomi
  • Patent number: 5246597
Abstract: This invention relates to a method of reducing the concentration of sulfides in an aqueous system by first treating the aqueous system with hydrogen peroxide to lower the sulfide concentration to approximately 300 ppm, or less, then subsequently treating the aqueous system with chlorine dioxide to further reduce the sulfide concentration to a desirable level. The method of the invention is capable of reducing the sulfide content of the treated aqueous system to as low as tenths of a part of sulfide per million parts of sour water.
