Abstract: A chum bobber with a first member comprising an integrated buoyancy chamber and a first coupling apparatus and a second member comprising a chum chamber and a second coupling apparatus for physically coupling to the first coupling apparatus. The first and second coupling apparatus are adapted for coupling the first member and the second member and thereby trapping chum into the second member while isolating the chum from the first member.

The device is best characterized as a toilet tissue spindle nightlight, containing various electronic subassemblies that operate together as a bathroom night lighting system. The spindle is capable of sensing movement, or vibrations, when a user accesses the roll of toilet tissue being held by the spindle. When movement is detected, the spindle automatically activates an integrated light to provide temporary and effective bathroom area illumination.

Abstract: A ball toss and retrieval toy provides for entertainment and exercise by children. The toy takes the form of a bat and has an open end for tossing the ball from the toy. The toy also has a cord and reel mechanism that attaches the ball to the bat, allowing for retrieval of the ball from a fixed position. The reel mechanism includes a release mechanism that allows the cord to play out as the toy is operated in a toss operation similar to a fishing casting operation. The ball can then be reeled in by the reel mechanism, which may include a mechanical crank or may be motorized.

Abstract: A medical treatment device and method provide relief from symptoms of peripheral neuropathy and/or vascular dysfunction. The device provides pressure along an inner surface of a human limb of a user, so that at least a portion of the pressure is derived from the weight of the user seated atop the device, and includes a frame for providing support of the device on a floor and one or more curved extensions extending above a center of the frame and downward toward the floor and configured to contact the inner surface of the limb of the user so that weight of the limb supplies at least some of the pressure. The treatment method includes seating a patient atop the device and maintaining the pressure for a treatment interval to provide relief from the symptoms of the peripheral neuropathy and/or vascular dysfunction.

Abstract: A method and system enables mobile wireless devices to identify and track each other in a connectionless communication scheme. Various use cases are possible, including image privacy, where users carry mobile devices that advertises their preferences and positioning data to other mobile devices in close proximity. When imagery collection begins on a given device, information from other surrounding mobile devices in the proximity is collected and processed against a plurality of onboard data acquisition tools and analytics to determine if certain portions of the collected imagery require redaction/filtering based on predefined relationships with the other surrounding users with mobile devices in the vicinity. Redaction and/or filtering may be managed based on a plurality of predefined inputs such as an established contacts list.

Abstract: A mobile telephone that is being held in the hand of a user, wherein sensors within the mobile telephone are able to determine orientation of the mobile telephone, and determination where on a mobile telephone a user is making contact, wherein the orientation and contact information is used to enable and disable desired functions of the portable electronic appliance.
