Abstract: An apparatus and method for controlling a display to provide content navigation is provided. In an aspect, a plurality of graphical cascades are created, where at least one of the graphical cascades is provided for menu navigation, and another of the graphical cascades is provided for actual generation of content. New menus automatically open in the foreground of a cascade.

Abstract: Systems and methods providing for improved navigation and aggregation of a multiplicity of Internet based media and communication types are disclosed herein. In various embodiments, a Internet experience Manager (IEM) is adapted to present, to a user, a user interface. The user interface is defined in an interface window. The user interface includes a playback window, a graphic control interface, and an icon pallet. In an embodiment, the graphic control interface and the icon palette are adapted to operate together to enable the user to manipulate a selectable plurality of graphically manipulable icons within the user interface window such that the items of digital content associated with each of the plurality of icons are aggregated and managed as a collective in response to the graphic control interface.

Abstract: A trusted publishing system for publishing trusted content is provided. The system comprises a publisher trust envelope module for converting content into a trusted document, and a consumer trust envelope module for validating the trusted document.

Abstract: A system and method of rendering outputs from a predefined output definition such as an html file. The definition includes at least one texture expression that is evaluated to create a conventional texture picture or audio output to be employed in the rendering. The texture expression requires less storage space and/or transmission bandwidth than a conventional image or audio texture and yet can provide complex and/or intricate textures to increase visual and audio esthetics and interest in the resulting rendered output. Evaluation of texture expressions can be performed with absolute or relative screen coordinates, or other parameters such as elapsed time or current time, as variables for the expression.
