  • Publication number: 20020108699
Abstract: The present invention relates to electrically conductive impregnated fibers and their method of manufacture. More particularly, the invention relates to a method for forming electrically conductive fibers by impregnating conductive fibers with an organic wetting agent to form an impregnated fiber tow and subsequently sheathed. Such sheathed impregnated tows can be formed into a wide variety of products such as radio-frequency and electromagnetic shielded plastic articles.
