    Abstract: An apparatus for aiding coagulation of fluids and tissue during surgery is provided. The apparatus includes a suction tube and first and second electrodes shaped as a cylindrical section extending from the suction tube. Two spaces are formed between the first electrode and the second electrode, and the distance between the tips of the electrodes and the suction tube is large enough to allow unobstructed viewing of the tissue that is being treated.
