    Abstract: A bicycle-lifting system and method for storing a bicycle above the ground in an enclosure such as a storage house, or a garage comprises a reel and a pair of straps mechanically attached to the reel. A bicycle may be lifted and stored above the floor in the enclosure when the pair of straps are wound around the reel. The system may be operated either mechanically with a crank or electrically with a motor.
