    Abstract: A pressure regulator is in fluid communication with a supply inlet of a hydraulic tensioner to actively control fluid to the inlet of the hydraulic tensioner. By actively controlling the pressure regulator based on engine conditions and thus the oil pressure being fed to the hydraulic tensioner, the oil pressure to the hydraulic tensioner may be reduced at low engine speeds, increasing the efficiency of the timing system, or allowing full oil pressure at high engine speeds and low engine temperature.

    Abstract: Methods and apparatus are presented for flexibly building a dynamic report using a heterogeneous mix of dimensions, segments, and metrics. Within a report building tool a user may introduce any number of dimensions and segments at any point within a generated report. Further within the report building tool, a user may break down existing dimensions and segments within a report with nested dimensions and segments, which may be added without limits on a nesting level. Given a generated report, a user may pivot the generated report, where the pivot includes pivoting any heterogeneous combination of dimensions, segments, and metrics within the generated report defined along each axis. Further, the pivot operation maintains the relative groupings and nestings of dimensions, dimension items, segments, and metrics in going from a column to a row or from a row to a column.

    Abstract: A pressure converter valve suitable for use in fluid flow systems. The pressure converter valve comprises a solid body having a plurality of interconnected bores formed therein with unidirectional flow devices located within certain of the bores to form parallel flow paths between the inlet and outlet ports of the pressure converter valve such that fluid flows in a first direction through one of the outlet ports and in a second direction through the other of the outlet ports regardless of the direction of fluid flow through the inlet ports. The pressure converter valve is adapted to have an auxiliary fluid control valve mounted thereto in fluid flow communication with the outlet ports of the pressure converter valve and, further, includes fluid flow paths connecting the outlet ports of the auxiliary valve to an auxiliary fluid operated device which is controlled by the auxiliary valve.
