  • Publication number: 20250343403
Abstract: A charging cable management assembly can be part of a stationary vehicle battery charger for furnishing charge to vehicle batteries of battery electric vehicles (BEVs), as an example application. In an implementation, the charging cable management assembly has a cable support arm and a spring. The cable support arm moves about a pivot relative to an associated stationary vehicle battery charger during use. The cable support arm can move between a home position and a fully deployed position, as well as to less-than-fully deployed positions therebetween. The spring exerts a return biasing force to the cable support arm for bringing the cable support arm back to its home position after deployment and for keeping it there.

  • Patent number: 11733047
Abstract: Exemplary methods and systems provide for production of geographically located, accurate indoor maps of physical spaces and provide navigation guidance for users in physical spaces, and process requests for users related to available physical space within said physical spaces. Aggregated information about the physical spaces is curated and converted using automated procedures into a data model that contains all elements of said physical spaces, including geographic data about the physical space's location on the globe. The system and computer program embodiments retrieve the converted data, load it on mobile devices or computers, rendering it on these devices in the correct global geographic context, allowing users to interact with the data to select rooms, and send and receive requests to and from external systems regarding these selections. Users navigate within the physical spaces using mobile devices and the computer program embodiments in tandem to provide accurate directions and guidance.

  • Patent number: 11366883
Abstract: Methods and systems for deploying an enhanced processing system that performs reflection based endpoint security testing are described herein. A computing system may determine, by performing reflection on a web server library, controller types corresponding to an API. For each of the controller types, the computing system may determine method information objects corresponding to the respective controller types. Based on calls to an endpoint method for each of the one or more method information objects, the computing system may determine endpoint failures associated with the API. The endpoint methods may correspond to each of the one or more method information objects. Based on the determined endpoint failures associated with the API, the computing system may adjust one or more endpoints of the API.

  • Patent number: 9556608
Abstract: Described herein is a truss/rafter roof erection system and kit that include H brackets that attach to a drop gable and are set to desired height. The first bracket attaches to a gable bracket piece and when the next truss is put in place a first and a second bar member are then slid into place, is pinned and fastened with a security cable. A security cable wraps around the truss or rafter and is secured into place with a one-way locking apparatus. At the finish (or other end of the roof) of the roof on the drop gable, or rafter, a second H bracket is fastened in the same manner as the starter end and is connected to a bar member.

  • Publication number: 20160237766
Abstract: A riser tensioner system and a wellbay structure for a floating unit or platform for deep/ultra-deep water field development. The riser tensioner system includes a first cassette, a second cassette, a tension joint, one or more centralizers, and a plurality of cylinders. The one or more centralizers provide lateral support to the tension joint. Each of the plurality of cylinders comprises a first end, a second end, and an intermediate portion. The first end of each of the plurality of cylinders is secured to the first cassette, and an intermediate portion of each of the plurality of cylinders is secured to the second cassette. The wellbay structure includes a plurality of transverse girders and a plurality of longitudinal girders. The girders form a grid comprising a plurality of slots. Each of the plurality of slots is configured for receiving and supporting a first cassette of each a riser tensioner assembly.

  • Patent number: 8052559
Abstract: A tensioner for a power transmission system includes two tensioning arms operatively engaged with the strand of the chain or the belt of the power transmission system. The upper end of each tensioning arm is connected to a two way damper which is pivotally mounted between the upper ends of the tensioning arms. When a pre-determined chain tension overload threshold is reached, the amount of torque required to overcome the coefficient of friction the damper allows the tensioner to adjust the tension in the chain with minimal oscillations and minimal phase change variation.

  • Publication number: 20100304361
Abstract: A method for monitoring a therapeutic treatment regime in an individual having a disease, comprises: providing at a first location a solid substrate capable of immobilising a biomarker characteristic of the disease and a therapeutic compound in the biological sample, contacting the biological sample with the solid substrate to immobilise the biomarker and the therapeutic compound; transferring the solid substrate with the immobilised biomarker and therapeutic compound to a second location; performing an extraction step on the solid substrate to extract the biomarker and the therapeutic compound; performing a first detection assay to detect and/or quantify the biomarker, performing a second detection assay to quantify the therapeutic compound; and correlating the detection and/or quantity of the biomarker with the disease state of the individual, and comparing the quantity of the therapeutic compound with a target level for treatment of the disease, thereby to assess the efficacy of the treatment regime.

  • Publication number: 20100029424
Abstract: A portion of a bore of a hydraulic tensioner is used as a check valve seat for a check ball and an end of the plunger biasing spring received in the bore of the hydraulic tensioner has a tang with a length extending in from an outer diameter of the spring, to limit and retain the travel of a check ball from the check valve seat when the pressure of an external source is not greater than the pressure in a fluid chamber formed between the bore of the housing and the plunger.
