  • Patent number: 11912476
Abstract: A child-resistant closure having inner and outer caps cooperating as a nested shell is contemplated. Downward force applied to the closure engages a series of cooperating lugs and detents to engage the child resistant feature, while thinned walls and cooperating, ramped skirts on the shells' interfacing surfaces to improve the hoop strength along a predefined circumference to avoid stripping/disengagement of the threads on the closure and container neck. An optional tamper evident ring may also be provided, as well as a combustion resistant vent formed in the top panel of the inner shell.

  • Publication number: 20150321772
Abstract: The pre conditioned air duct storage and deployment apparatus includes a plenum reel assembly having an air outlet means for connection to one end of the ducting, a frame rotatably supporting the plenum reel assembly comprising a reversible drive motor supported by the frame having an output drive shaft rotatably driving the plenum reel assembly in a first direction to retract the ducting and a second direction to deploy the ducting, a polymer rotary swivel assembly having a first diameter fixedly supported by the frame and having a second diameter fixedly attached and rotatably supporting the plenum reel assembly about an axis coextensive with the drive shaft axis. The frame and plenum reel assembly has an opening for means of air transference through the polymer rotary swivel assembly and the fixed portion of the polymer rotary swivel assembly has connecting means to an external pre conditioned air source.

  • Publication number: 20140014661
Abstract: A two piece clamping ring and lever system for retaining removable lids to containers comprises a split circular ring. The ring first end includes outwardly extending receiving hooks. The second end of the ring includes pivot bosses comprising a pivot shaft and enlarged button. A lever with pivot shafts engages with the ring first end. When the lever is closed contact surfaces on an inwardly projecting transverse beam on the underside of the lever and outwardly projecting beams on the ring first end engage to relieve stresses on the lever pivot shafts and ring first end pivot receiving hooks. A second stress transfer relationship is engaged as an inwardly facing transverse beam extending between the sidewalls of the ring second end is slideably engaged into corresponding receiving channels outwardly facing from the ring first end thereby relieving stresses on the pivot bosses and corresponding longitudinally extending lever bearing surface.
