  • Patent number: 9183593
Abstract: An automated insurance quote system allows users to apply for one or more insurance quotes through a self-service communication channel. The system includes an interface that may receive applicant data from a remote location. A front-end processor selectively passes applicant data to a record keeping system retained in a memory. A controller or quote processors selects and transmits one or more insurance policies that are allowed under a user's governmental law and are tailored to the user's price and/or coverage preferences. The system conveys coverage details to users through the interface.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 17, 2013
Date of Patent: November 10, 2015
    Assignee: Progressive Casualty Insurance Company
Inventors: Dale A. Willis, David L. Rolnik, Glenn M. Renwick, Daniel Michael, Raymond S. Ling, Daniel Gehrmann, Faith Chiang, Patrick K. Callahan, Toby K. Alfred

  • Publication number: 20080156002
Abstract: An applicator for introducing an air conditioning system treatment into an air conditioning system refrigerant flow path. The applicator comprises a reservoir carrying the treatment, the reservoir having first and second caps closing first and second reservoir openings, each of the first and second caps including a hose fitting. First and second hoses are connected between respective first and second valves in the refrigerant flow path and the respective first and the second fittings. A pressure differential between the first and the second valves (a higher pressure at the first valve than at the second valve) forces the treatment from the reservoir through the second hose into the second valve in the refrigerant flow path.

  • Patent number: 6211121
Abstract: A lubricant contains a fire-resistant water/glycol mixture combined with polytetrafluoroethylene, and is useful in the hydraulic systems of die casting machines, for example. The addition of polytetrafluoroethylene enhances the lubricity of fire-resistant hydraulic fluids thereby reducing the associated equipment maintenance.

  • Patent number: 5990054
Abstract: A lubricant contains a fire-resistant water/glycol mixture combined with polytetrafluoroethylene, and is useful in the hydraulic systems of die casting machines, for example. The addition of polytetrafluoroethylene enhances the lubricity of fire-resistant hydraulic fluids thereby reducing the associated equipment maintenance. A preferred lubricant is formed by sequentially and homogeneously blending its constituents thereby prolonging the shelf life of the final product.
