Abstract: A 1/16 DIN power controller configuration is provided that includes a housing, a circuit board carrier disposed within the housing and capable of engaging at least three circuit boards within the housing, a power supply circuit board disposed within the housing and engaged by the circuit board carrier, and a communications circuit board disposed adjacent the power supply circuit board within the housing and engaged by the circuit board carrier. The communications circuit board includes Ethernet/IP and/or Modbus TCP protocols, and in alternate forms includes RS-232 and RS-485 with Modbus RTU protocol, DeviceNet, Profibus DP, CanOpen, and/or EtherCat.

Abstract: A multiple heater control system includes cables, connectors, and junction boxes for user-friendly daisy chain connections of heater controllers and heaters in various configurations or combinations of individually controlled heater series and/or master and slave heater series. The heater controllers include process control of AC power to the heaters and upper-limit safety shutoff that is substantially independent from the process control. The heater controllers also have variable levels of control, adjustment, display, and communications functionality in a base module that is expandable to various levels with expansion modules that are attachable to and detachable from the base module. Connector, cable, and junction configurations, adapters, and latch features enhance user friendliness.

Abstract: A user interface assembly and method for a power controller having a housing adapted for mechanically coupling to a controller housing of the power controller, a display visible on an outer surface of the housing for providing a visual presentation to a user, a user input mechanism for receiving an input from the user, a user interface circuit disposed within the housing and coupled to the display and the user input mechanism for controlling an operation the power controller when coupled to the user interface assembly, and a connector coupled to the user interface circuit and adapted for electrically connecting the user interface circuit to an electrical connector associated with the power controller upon the mechanical coupling of the housing to the controller housing.

Abstract: A medical gas alarm system for use in a healthcare facility having a medical gas system and having a network of computer devices is provided. The alarm system includes at least one area alarm controller adapted to receive a first signal indicative of a condition of a first portion of the medical gas system. The area alarm controller is adapted to communicate with the network. The alarm system also includes at least one master alarm controller adapted to receive a second signal indicative of a condition of a second portion of the medical gas system. The master alarm controller is adapted to communicate with the network. The area alarm controller is adapted to communicate with the master alarm controller through the network.
