Patent number: 9146283Abstract: A battery tester determines a remaining level of charge of a battery mounted within a separate electronic device having an audio jack. The battery tester includes a plug and a circuit having a high impedance input amplifier. At least one electrical contact of the plug is electrically coupled to an input of the high impedance input amplifier. The plug is removably insertable within the audio jack such that the battery of the separate electronic device is electrically connected to the input of the high impedance input amplifier. When electrically coupled to the battery, an output of the high impedance input amplifier provides a signal proportional to the remaining level of charge of the battery, whereby the remaining level of charge of the battery is obtainable by the battery tester without having to remove the battery from the electronic device.Type: GrantFiled: April 30, 2012Date of Patent: September 29, 2015Assignee: NuWave Technologies, Inc.Inventor: Damian Coccio

Patent number: 7516692Abstract: Slow cooking over solid fuel in an enclosed barbeque pit is carried out by the use of an electronically controlled impeller which directs a flow of air toward the fuel. The duty cycle of the impeller is controlled by an electronic controller which is responsive to the internal temperature of the food and to the temperature of the pit atmosphere. As the internal temperature of the food increases, the temperature of the pit atmosphere gradually decreases.Type: GrantFiled: February 18, 2004Date of Patent: April 14, 2009Assignee: Therm-Omega-Tech, Inc.Inventors: Fred L. Patent number: 7173211Abstract: A device to place an incision into matter with a harmonious plasma cloud. A radiofrequency generator system produces pulsed or continuous electromagnetic waveform which is transmitted by an active transmitter incising electrode tip. This generated electromagnetic wave is utilized to initiate a plasma cloud with processes such as thermal ionization and a photoelectric effect which then trigger an Avalanche Effect for charged atomic particles at the surface of the active transmitter incising electrode tip. This electromagnetic wave is impedance matched, frequency matched, power matched and tuned to the plasma cloud in order to sustain and control a harmonious plasma cloud with reduced atomic particle turbulence and chaos. This harmonious plasma cloud forms a coating over the surface of the active transmitter electrode tip as well as acts to reduce the energy needed from the power amplifier of our plasma cutting device.Type: GrantFiled: February 1, 2005Date of Patent: February 6, 2007Assignee: RJF Holdings II, Inc.Inventors: Damian Coccio, Richard J. Publication number: 20020152667Abstract: The use of epoxies, adhesives and coatings to produce fishing fly bodies and other fishing lures is an increasingly popular practice in fishing fly tying and lure making. The most critical and final step of this process is rotating the fishing fly or lure while the epoxy is curing thereby leveling the coating of the epoxy around the body. My invention is a simple wheel assembly with a spring wrapped around the circumference which is used to secure groups of individual fishing flies and lures before, during and after an epoxy or other finish is applied to them. The assembly holds the fishing flies and lures securely while they are rotating allowing the epoxy or other finish to level about the axis of the fishing flies and lure hooks. My invention allows the user to attach and remove the fishing flies and lures easily and to manipulate the position of the wheel by simply moving it with their hands.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 19, 2001Publication date: October 24, 2002Inventor: Damian Coccio

Patent number: 5958266Abstract: A method of incising matter with a harmonious plasma cloud. An inexpensive radiofrequency generator and power amplifier generates an electromagnetic wave which is transmitted from an incising transmitter probe. This electromagnetic wave is impedance matched, frequency matched, and power matched to initiate and sustain a harmonious plasma cloud with low atomic particle turbulence and chaos. This harmonious plasma cloud forms a coating over the surface of the incising tip as well as acts to reduce the energy output needed from the power amplifier. The electromagnetic wave is also used to produce a Pinch Effect to compress, contour, shape and control the harmonious plasma cloud. The electromagnetic wave is furthermore used to trap and contain the plasma cloud without the need of a solid matter containment vessel according to the Magnetic Bottle Effect of physics.Type: GrantFiled: October 24, 1997Date of Patent: September 28, 1999Inventors: Richard J.
