Abstract: A system may perform operations including receiving a filter parameter associated with a desired information attribute, wherein the filter parameter indicates that academic information having the desired information attribute is relevant to a user profile; accessing new academic information associated with an academic event; analyzing the new academic information for the desired information attribute associated with the filter parameter; identifying the desired information attribute in the new academic information; generating, by the processor, a notification in response to the identifying the desired information attribute in the new academic information; and/or presenting the notification on a user device associated with the user profile.

Abstract: In various embodiments, a method for providing online education is disclosed. The method may comprise receiving first data via a first user interface (“UI”) comprising a parent student portal (“PSP”), receiving second data via a second user interface (“UI”) comprising a learning management system (“LMS”), receiving third data via a third user interface (“UI”) comprising a student information system (“SIS”), and/or storing the first data, the second data, and the third data to a central data repository (“CDR”). In various embodiments, the method may further comprise enabling customization of at least one of the first UI, the second UI, and the third UI by an education provider. Further still, the method may comprise filtering data based upon a filter criterion, and/or communicating a notification to a plurality of users based upon the filtering.

Abstract: The present invention is directed at a software system for use in an online educational environment. In one embodiment, a software system combines and allows communication between a student management system, a learning management system, and various other portals are interconnected and communicate with one another to allow for an completely integrated online educational institution that allows patents, students, and educators to plan and monitor a student's progress.
