Abstract: Methods and apparatus for adaptively assisting developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired drivers are disclosed. An apparatus comprises a user interface. The user interface is to present first navigation data in a first mode to assist a driver in guiding a vehicle from a current location to a destination location. The user interface is further to present second navigation data in a second mode to assist the driver in guiding the vehicle from the current location to the destination location. The second navigation data is adapted relative to the first navigation data based on driver assistance data associated with the driver.

Abstract: Example embodiments relate to related art citation management. One example embodiment includes a method of automating related art citation generation. The method includes reading a citation status of a related art reference for a patent document. The method further includes generating a related art reference list document. Additionally, in response to the citation status of the related art reference having a first citation status value, the method includes inserting into the related art reference list document a related art citation, the related art citation comprising metadata for the related art reference.

The controller (12) is programmed to generate a theme score from a plurality of source documents in a plurality of predefined source documents. A theme score is also generated for the unclassified document. The unclassified document theme score and the theme scores for the various classes are compared and the unclassified document is classified into the classification having the nearest theme score.

The system includes an approval function where the document being approved is stored to a central storage area. The central storage area cannot be modified or deleted by the users. Users are invited to review and approve the document and are provided a convenient hyperlink to the specific document. The system records the date and time that each user approved the document. A central storage area interfaces with a database. The database retrieves approver and approval information and prepares an approval log. The approval log may be in the form of an XML document that easily updates other database systems.
