  • Publication number: 20240116593
Abstract: A foldable cycle having a folded configuration and an unfolded configuration, the foldable cycle comprising a first body section, wherein the first body section comprises a front wheel of the cycle, second body section and a third body section, wherein the third body section comprises a rear wheel of the cycle. The first body section is rotationally coupled to the second body section about a first axis inclined with respect to the forward direction of travel of the cycle in the unfolded configuration such that the first body section is configured to rotate about the first axis in a first direction of rotation. The third body section is rotationally coupled to the second body section about a second axis inclined with respect to the forward direction of travel of the cycle in the unfolded configuration such that the third body section is configured to rotate about the second axis in a second direction of rotation.

  • Publication number: 20230132257
Abstract: A convection-driven power generator comprising a flow intake configured to supply fluid to the generator, a flow duct having a duct inlet and a duct outlet wherein the duct outlet is spaced downstream from the duct inlet along the flow duct, the duct inlet being fluidly coupled to the flow intake. A heating chamber fluidly is coupled to the duct outlet so as to receive fluid from the duct outlet, the heating chamber comprising an external wall configured to transmit light radiation incident thereon such that fluid within the heating chamber is heated by the transmitted light radiation. A flow exhaust is fluidly coupled to the heating chamber and configured to exhaust fluid heated by the heating chamber from the heating chamber.

  • Publication number: 20220081110
Abstract: An aircraft (1) comprising a fuselage (4), an anhedral rearwardly-swept leading wing (5) for generating lift connected to an upper portion of the fuselage, and a dihedral forwardly-swept trailing wing (7) for generating lift attached to a lower portion of the fuselage. The trailing wing (7) is arranged to be vertically lower than the leading wing (5) in flight. The leading wing (5) and trailing wing (7) are blended together at their wingtips, forming a common wingtip (20), such that the underside surface (16) of the leading wing (5) forms a generally continuous and smoothly transitioning surface with the upper surface (22) of the trailing wing (7) so as to form a vortex guide surface (23) such that vortex air flow from the leading wing (5) is guided by the vortex guide surface (23) onto, or into the path of, the trailing wing (7).
