    Abstract: Method for making an ornamental article, which envisages a step for arranging, in a 3D printer, a finish plate made of metallic material provided with an inner face and an outer face, and an augmenting step for augmenting, in the 3D printer, an ornamental body formed by a plurality of separate connection elements mechanically engaged with each other, wherein the augmenting step is attained by means of successive welding of metal powder layers, so to fix the plurality of connection elements of the ornamental body to the finish plate. The method further comprises a step for cutting the finish plate into a plurality of separate surface elements adjacent to each other and mechanically connected to the plurality of connection elements.
