  • Publication number: 20210164007
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for producing a fructose composition comprising the following successive stages: provision of an initial composition comprising glucose; concentration of the initial composition by evaporation of water to obtain a concentrated initial composition; isomerization of glucose to fructose from the concentrated initial composition, making it possible to obtain an intermediate composition; purification of the intermediate composition in a multicolumn chromatography system, making it possible to obtain a glucose-rich raffinate and a fructose-rich extract; concentration of the extract by evaporation of water; wherein the intermediate composition is not subjected to a concentration step by evaporation of water between the isomerization step and the purification step.

  • Patent number: 10975031
Abstract: A method for purifying an amino acid from an initial mixture is disclosed, in which the amino acid includes an aromatic ring and has an acidity constant Ka, the method including: a first step of putting the initial mixture into contact with a strong cation resin, at a pH greater than or equal to pKa; and a second elution step with an aqueous solution of eluent having a pH greater than the pH of the first step, giving the possibility of collecting a flow enriched in the amino acid.

    Assignee: Novasep Process
Inventors: Damien Brichant, Frédéric Schab, Stanislas Baudouin, Vincent Oriez
  • Patent number: 10279282
Abstract: It is an object of the invention to provide a process for producing an organic acid, comprising: providing an incoming stream containing an organic acid and impurities; subjecting said incoming stream to a step of chromatographic separation, using a solution of mineral acid as an eluent, so as to collect an extract and a raffinate, the organic acid being recovered in the extract; and subjecting the raffinate to an electrodialysis step, so as to collect a diluate and a concentrate, the mineral acid being concentrated in the concentrate. The invention also provides an installation for implementing this process.

Date of Patent: May 7, 2019
    Assignee: Novasep Process SAS
