  • Patent number: 11621624
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure may monitor and adjust a sampling rate of an ADC for converting the power signal to a digital signal, locking onto the phase and frequency of the power signal. This technique may make the sampling process coherent relative to the power signal. Properties of the power signal, such as phase, frequency, and magnitude, may be extracted relative to an idealized power signal.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 9, 2021
Date of Patent: April 4, 2023
Assignee: Analog Devices International Unlimited Company
Inventors: Damien J. McCartney, Damien Murphy, Jeric Adrian Butiu Monzon
  • Patent number: 11294018
Abstract: Microwave resonance cavities and associated methods and apparatus are described. In one example, a cavity (100) comprises a first and a second input port (102, 104) for inputting microwave radiation at a first and a second frequency respectively. The microwave radiation at the first frequency may be to excite a sample in the cavity whereas the microwave radiation at the second frequency may be to interrogate a sample in the cavity for analysis. The cavity has dimensions such that it resonates at both the first and the second frequency.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 21, 2018
Date of Patent: April 5, 2022
Assignee: University College Cardiff Consultants Limited
    Inventors: Adrian Porch, Damien Murphy

  • Patent number: 10841255
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media are provided for determining a collaboration status of a user of an electronic messaging system based on user data, including: (i) health data representative of a physiological parameter or mental engagement of the user and (ii) collaboration activity data representative of social collaboration activity of the user, to determine the collaboration status. Historical health data and collaboration activity data may be included in the determination of the collaboration status. In some aspects, the collaboration status may reflect a real-time collaboration status of the user.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 9, 2018
Date of Patent: November 17, 2020
    Assignee: International Business Machines Corporation
Inventors: Stephane Queva, Gaurav Bhagat, Damien Murphy, Fergal Connolly

  • Patent number: 10778638
Abstract: Some embodiments provide a non-transitory machine-readable medium that stores a program. The program receives from a client device a request for contacts to use to initiate communications for a product. The program further identifies a set of contacts associated with a user of the client device. The program also determines a subset of the set of contacts associated with the user based on data associated with the product. The program further provides the client device the subset of the set of contacts associated with the user as candidates for initiating communications for the product.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 20, 2017
Date of Patent: September 15, 2020
    Assignee: SAP SE
