  • Patent number: 7207825
Abstract: Connector (1) fitted to the end of a cable and provided with lateral locking means (7) provided so as to interact with a receptacle of a complementary device with which the plug connector is connected. The locking means comprise a tongue (13) exhibiting a stump (12) passing from a lateral slot (10) of the connector. The tongue is retained in a base (4) of the connector by means of piercing means (38, 39) which are themselves retained in the base. In addition to this, the locking means comprise anchoring means in order to be retained in a cover (16) surrounding this base.

  • Patent number: 7144278
Abstract: The invention concerns a plug connector (1) equipped with compression contact terminals (5). In order to clean each of the contact surfaces of at least one first compression contact terminal (5) of a plug connector (1) and of a second contact terminal (9) of a connector with fixed base (2) respectively, the invention provides for at least one first contact terminal (5) of the plug connector including a contact end (8), Which contact end is provided with at least protuberance (12) mounted at the tip of its elongated part (16) extending in a plane perpendicular to an elongation axis (13) of said contact end and/or to a connection axis (15).

  • Patent number: 6527452
Abstract: A device for connecting and disconnecting two individual optical fibers comprising: two ferrules each having a front face, a connection channel in which the two ferrules can be engaged facing each other, two axial retention means to limit axial displacements of a corresponding ferrule relative to the connection channel in a direction opposite from its direction for engagement in said channel, and a resilient member urging one of the ferrules to press the front faces of the two ferrules against each other while they are interconnected. For disconnection purposes, the device includes an unlocking key suitable for disengaging the axial retention means of one of the ferrules, and the resilient member is arranged so that when the unlocking key disengages the retention means, it pushes the ferrule back towards the outside of the alignment sleeve and gives rise to disconnection.

  • Patent number: 6234822
Abstract: Connector designed to come to be engaged on an edge (2) of a printed circuit board (1) and has contacts (3, 4) designed to take support elastically on either side of board (1) in order to establish a direct connection with the conductive connection areas of this board. The connector comprises a base (6) and a plug (8) comprising means cooperating together during the insertion of plug (8) into base (6) in order to: guide the introduction of plug (8) into base (6); move plug (8) upward to permit a lining up of row of contacts (4) borne by the second part (10) of plug (8) onto the conductive areas situated under the edge of board (1) and simultaneously; bend flexible part (9) of plug (8) downward to permit a lining up of row of contacts (3) borne by this flexible part (9) on the conductive areas situated on the edge of board (1).
